We had a great turnout from the legal sector in Bristol who met twelve of the organisations being funded by the Foundation as well as staff and Governors. We hope to be able to confirm shortly a Justice First Fellow for Bristol. This is our scheme to support the next generation of social welfare lawyers.

Her Honour Susan Darwall Smith, Deputy Lieutenant of the County and City of Bristol speaking at the event, paid tribute to the “interesting and innovative” work being funded by the Foundation and the scale of what had been achieved in the short time since the Foundation’s launch.
