For grant requests less than £75,000

Single stage application process

  • Applicants are invited to submit applications early in order that any more detailed or missing information can be sought well before the Grants Committee meeting date. This application should be made using the Grant Application form.
For grant requests of £75,000 or more

Two stage application process

  • An initial application must be made at least 2 months before the deadline. This is to allow for discussion with intending applicants. This application should be made using the Preliminary Grant Proposal form.

  • After a period of preliminary discussion with the Foundation, applicants should then make their application using the Grant Application form.

All grant applications must be made through the Foundation web site.

Application window timetable (October 2018)
  • Applications for grants of £75,000 or more to submit a Preliminary Grant Proposal no later than Thursday 2nd August 2018.

  • All Grant Applications to be submitted by 5pm on Tuesday 2nd October 2018.

  • Decisions to recipients by mid-December 2018.

Application window timetable (April 2019)
  • Applications for grants of £75,000 or more to submit a Preliminary Grant Proposal no later than Monday 11th February 2019.

  • All Grant Applications to be submitted by 5pm on Thursday 11th April 2019.

  • Decisions to recipients by end of July 2019.

All applications for the April 2018 window have been processed and applicants informed of funding decisions.
